Charlotte Howell LIDTA Dance Ex. Dip

Charlotte set up Think Dance Education in 2017 to provide fun and dynamic dance workshops for schools and preschools in Milton Keynes, Northampton, and surrounding areas and IDTA dance classes from tots through to adults.

Starting at the age of 8, Charlotte trained at various dance schools in different genres. She competed nationally in Freestyle Dance and enjoyed a successful competitive career, whilst completing amateur exams in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Freestyle, Ballroom, Rock and Roll and Latin American, through RAD, ISTD, and IDTA. At the age of 17 Charlotte retired from competing and took her first IDTA professional qualification at 21 to become a teacher. This lead to a nomination for the John Dilworth Scholarship for promising teachers. She has been a member of the International Dance Teachers Association for 19 years and has taught for various Dance Schools, Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Preschools, Adult Education, Youth Groups and After School Clubs giving her a wealth of knowledge.

Charlotte feels passionate about making dancing accessible to all. Along with the physical benefits for the body, dancing has shown to grow individuals confidence, inspire their imagination, provide a sense of achievement and much more.

Rebekah Farmer BA (Hons) AIDTA

Rebekah is a qualified Freestyle dance teacher with a strong passion to enhance and encourage a person’s ability to express themselves through dance and movement.

Rebekah has performed at Disneyland Paris, Sadler Wells Theatre and The London Palladium. She regularly competed in national dance competitions with the IDTA up until the age of 18. Following this, she continued her passion for performing and studied Dance, Drama with Physical Theatre at university for 3 years. After successfully graduating from university Rebekah discovered her passion for teaching was greater than performing and has never looked back. She believes dance is much more than just movement; it is a tool for an individual to express themselves, control emotions and build self-confidence whilst learning their own limits.

Whilst she enjoys all styles of dance teaching Freestyle and Rock ‘n’ Roll remains her favourite. Rebekah is very excited to be joining Think Dance Education and cannot wait to bring her flair to your school.
